Why Vintage?

Welcome to 20th Century Fox Vintage, where you’ll find lovingly curated vintage fashions for a range of budgets, styles, and sizes.

I’m Sheri, owner and Chief Fabulous Officer, and I’ve been a vintage lover and collector for more than 20 years.

So, why vintage? What is it about vintage clothing that fascinates us?

Well, for me, I’d have to say that before mass consumerism and a push towards fast fashion, clothing was made to last! That’s why it’s still around, after all.

And what appeals to me most is the unique nature of vintage. If you show up at an event in vintage, chances are no one else will be wearing the same thing. If you’re like me, individuality is important. I want a look that is all my own, not one that 10 other people are wearing at the same event. I simply prefer establishing my own look, and vintage allows me to pick pieces that are often one-of-a-kind and put them together for a look that is all my own.
