Description

This beautiful 1960s psychedelic dress is a floor-length hippie dream dress! Everything about this dress is dreamy and ethereal, from the groovy print to the sweet bow in the back!

This gorgeous, groovy babe would best fit up to a US size 4. Fabric does not provide stretch. Back hook-and-eye and zipper closure.

For measurements sake, the model wears a size 2, and her measurements are 34/25/35.

This 1960s psychedelic dress is just one example of these wild patterns frequently seen in 60s fashion. Have you ever wondered why psychedelia was so popular in the 60s? Love to Know breaks it down pretty well, and the answer, kids, is drugs!

That’s right! LSD, also known as acid, had a huge impact not only on fashion but art and other media. I like to think of this dress as someone’s wild little acid trip in fabric form. This fabric bends reality, and this seems to be an extension of that hallucinogenic experience LSD provided those who partook of the drug.

Psychedelic prints went out of fashion by the early 70s, but you can still find plenty of cool prints well into the 70s and beyond. This funky cool shirt in the shop is an example!
