1970s Navy Pendleton Skirt! Vintage Wool Perfection!

1970s navy Pendleton wool skirt

This 1970s navy Pendleton skirt is the cutest vintage wool skirt! This classic skirt will pair with almost anything in your wardrobe, making it versatile and timeless.

This skirt will take you through three seasons.

Pair it with knee-high boots like these from Franco Sarto! I would also add this chunky, adorable 1970s Gaeltarra Irish wool sweater.

This absolutely stellar skirt would best fit up to a modern US size M (8-10). Measurements, taken flat, are:

W: 15″
H: 20″
L: 26.5″

When I think of Pendleton, I automatically think of vintage wool skirts and other clothing from the 1950s and 1960s. These Pendleton skirts are practically a staple in any vintage lover’s wardrobe! But did you know that Pendleton has been around since 1863? It got its start as a wool shipping center for wool producers in Oregon.

On the fashion front, Pendleton start out making wool suits for men before branching into women’s clothing in the late 1940s.

Kind of crazy to think that a company that got its start as a wool shipping company is producing wool clothing to this very day! You can even shop online now! But I personally prefer the vintage Pendleton stuff, like this 1970s navy wool skirt!
