Peacock Blue Wool Skirt from Pendleton!

70s peacock blue wool skirt from Pendleton

This peacock blue wool skirt is an adorable and brilliant 1970s vintage piece from Pendleton! This piece is so vibrant, it will pair well with just about anything in your wardrobe!

It will take you from fall through spring!

I would pair this gorgeous peacock blue wool skirt with this fantastic 1960s beaded wool sleeveless top and these sparkly Vince Camuto heels.

Would fit up to a modern US size M (8-10). Measurements, taken flat, are:

W: 15″
H: 20″
L: 27″

When I think of Pendleton, I automatically think of vintage wool skirts and other clothing from the 1950s and 1960s. These Pendleton skirts are practically a staple in any vintage lover’s wardrobe! But did you know that Pendleton has been around since 1863? It got its start as a wool shipping center for wool producers in Oregon.

On the fashion front, Pendleton start out making wool suits for men before branching into women’s clothing in the late 1940s. Kind of crazy to think that a company that got its start as a wool shipping company is producing wool clothing to this very day! You can even shop online now! But I personally prefer the vintage Pendleton stuff, like this 1970s red wool skirt!
