Description

Iconic 1970s red wool skirt from Pendleton! This cutie is the perfect layering piece.

This adorable piece will pair with just about anything in your wardrobe and will take you from fall through spring! Pair it with knee-high boots like these from Franco Sarto or flats like these from Nine West. Dress it up with heels. Add a cute chunky sweater or a camisole. This color would look great with both silver and gold jewelry!

Would best fit up to a modern US size M (8-10). Measurements, taken flat, are:

W: 15″
H: 20″
L: 27″

When I think of Pendleton, I automatically think of vintage wool skirts and other clothing from the 1950s and 1960s. These Pendleton skirts are practically a staple in any vintage lover’s wardrobe! But did you know that Pendleton has been around since 1863? It got its start as a wool shipping center for wool producers in Oregon.

On the fashion front, Pendleton start out making wool suits for men before branching into women’s clothing in the late 1940s. Kind of crazy to think that a company that got its start as a wool shipping company is producing wool clothing to this very day! You can even shop online now! But I personally prefer the vintage Pendleton stuff, like this 1970s red wool skirt!
