This 70s deadstock polyester jacket is bright, bold, and cute! The red-orange color and the adorable geometric pattern, not to mention that totally 70s collar, lend a unique twist to this vintage piece!

The original tags are still attached!

This hot babe would fit a modern US size S-M. Fabric does provide stretch. Measurements taken flat are:

B: 17″
W: 15.5″
L: 25.5″

I would personally pair this jacket with these groovy, funky 1970s flares from Studio 33! Now, hear me out! This jacket with this lime green 70s jumpsuit! This 70s deadstock polyester jacket would look great with jeans and a T-shirt.

Just how rare is deadstock when it comes to vintage fashion?

Deadstock, just so you know, is defined as any vintage item (which is to say a piece of clothing from more than 20 years ago) that was not sold at the time it was in stores and has its original tags. Sammy Davis Vintage has a great piece on deadstock vintage that you should check out.

I’m always blown away when I find deadstock in my travels. It’s not unheard of to find new with tags (NWT) vintage pieces, especially if you frequent estate sales. Sometimes people bought items they just didn’t wear. And who hasn’t been there?

But deadstock might be harder to come by in the future, thanks to retailers like Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx. These stores take deadstock and offer it at a discount.
