Vintage Children’s Hospital Pajamas! So Cute!

These vintage children’s hospital pajamas are literally the cutest ever!

They feature the cutest little print that features safety tips! Play Safely! Swim Safely! Cross Safely! Safety is best! Beware of strange animals!

They also happen to be super soft and so fun!

The top has snap buttons. The bottoms have a tie closure at the side. These date to around the 70s. The label features laundry instructions, which weren’t particularly common until 1971, when they became required.

These would make a great period costume for film, TV, or theater.

And they’re in absolutely great shape! No stains, holes, tears, or odors! The cute green color really pops as well.

Measurements for the top, taken flat, are:

B: 18.5″

W: 18″

L: 19″ shoulder to hem

Measurements for the bottoms, taken flat, are:

W: 14.5″ (with a tie string that could pull the waist tighter)

H: 16.5″

L: 31″ waist to hem

Inseam: 20″

You know, there’s a great organization in the U.K. called Children’s Hospital Pyjamas that collects new pajamas (or pyjamas if you’re across the pond) for disadvantaged children in hospitals, hospices, and shelters throughout the U.K. I think it would be just swell if you gave them a visit, and if you feel compelled, donate a new pair of pajamas to a kid who could really use it.
